Now that I assume you had a blog with content which you had written with great passion.However,no matter how great your content maybe,if there is nobody to read it you can't generate profit from it.In my previous you have seen how to submit your blog to three major search engines.You should try to get your site among the top search results inorder to improve your CTR( click through rate).The art of getting your blog or website onto high ranking on search result pages is called Search Engine Optimization(SEO).It is very complex to understand.Let us try to learn it slowly.We may not become masters of it in a fortnight but definitely we can make use of these small On page SEO tips  to our advantage.

SEO can be classified into two types.On page seo and Off page seo.let us see about "On page seo tips" in this post.Off page seo will be discussed in the coming posts.On page search engine optimization means optimizing your page for search engines by taking care of the keywords and how they are placed at different places in your posts.Feeling difficult to understand.So lets understand this with an example.Let us take the keyword for this post.As this is about search engine ooptimization most likely keyword is SEO.When someone types SEO in google the number of results that you get are 272,000,000.If we slightly modify it to "On page SEO notes"then google lists 277,000 results.Compared to first search term this is far better.Here you are facing less competition and is more manageable.So you need to take care to write your keywords accordingly.

Here are some of the tips.Your main keyword should be included in the title of your posts.Also include it in your post content so that search engines can know what your page is about.You should understand one term "keyword density" here.It refers to the number of times the keyword appears in the blog content.Please be careful onthe number of times you include it in your post because using it more than necessary may be harmful as search engines may think that you are spamming and your ranking may further fall.Alwasys keep in mind that you are writing for people who read your blog and you may loose them by spamming.Also keep the leywords in bold letters whereever it is necessary.

Once who have completed blog or site creation you need to submit it to different search engines so that your site can be shown in search results of different search engines.while most of the search engines will find your site automatically its always better to manually submit your site inorder to get yourself indexed as soon as possible.

Search engine submission will increase traffic to your website thereby incresing your chances of getting more clicks on your ads.It may not bring huge traffic overnight but it surely helps.And as long as your content is unique and helpful there are more chances that your sitewill soon be indexed high in google and other search engines.But you need to provide content on a regular basis.Take care of the keywords you use in meta tags for getting your site indexed at top level.

Many people after creating their sites or blogs have doubts regarding how to submit them to different search engines.They are in a confusion whether to submit to all search engines or is it sufficient to submit to just a few.Well my advice is that you should submit to only top top three or four serach engines because once your site gets indexed well in these search engines then others will automatically index.We know that top three search engines are google,yahoo and MSN.Lets see how to submit to them.

Submission to:-

1. Google:Follow this link and there you will get a form.Give the URL of your blog or site which you wanted to get google indexed  and then write down the verification characters and click on the "Add URL" button.You can also write some comments about your blog.

2. Yahoo: Follow thislink and you will get a page where you need to click on "submit your iste for free".Then click on "submit your webpage".Then you will get a box where you need to enter your URL.You can also submit your site feed.You need to log in to your yahoo account in order to submit.

3. MSN: Follow this link and there you will get a form.Give the URL of your site which you wanted to get indexed in MSN seacrh engine and then write down the verification characters and click on the "Submit URL" button.

  Thats it.Your bsite has been submitetd to these major three search engines for indexing.Now it may take 3-7 days to get your site indexed by all these seacrh engines.Initially it may be indexed low depending on the quality of content you provide.But if you keep posting good it will not take much time before it gets to top level.

What is NICHE blog?

If you had thought of starting a blog and gone through some of the online stuff about how to blog then you would have definitely come across this term-NICHE blog.So what exactly is this niche blog?What is meant by NICHE?Let us try to gather a brief knowledge about this.

The term niche means focused.So niche blog means the entire blog is focused on any single subject.Suppose let us say there is a blog on several gadgets like cell phones,computers,camcoders,cameras,PDA's ..etc like that.Hence that blog is divided into several sections for each one.Each of these sections on cell phones,cameras...etc individually refers to niche.And blogging about a particualr one is called NICHE blogging.

A niche market can have a several niche included in it.Suppose for example take one niche computers from gadgets.In that computers there are several sections like desktops,laptops..etc.and again take laptops and in that you get several niches like mini laptops,laptops of different brands,apple imac's..etc like that.So blogging about about any of the niche market and only about it in their entire blog is called niche blogging.
