SEO can be classified into two types.On page seo and Off page seo.let us see about "On page seo tips" in this post.Off page seo will be discussed in the coming posts.On page search engine optimization means optimizing your page for search engines by taking care of the keywords and how they are placed at different places in your posts.Feeling difficult to understand.So lets understand this with an example.Let us take the keyword for this post.As this is about search engine ooptimization most likely keyword is SEO.When someone types SEO in google the number of results that you get are 272,000,000.If we slightly modify it to "On page SEO notes"then google lists 277,000 results.Compared to first search term this is far better.Here you are facing less competition and is more manageable.So you need to take care to write your keywords accordingly.

Here are some of the tips.Your main keyword should be included in the title of your posts.Also include it in your post content so that search engines can know what your page is about.You should understand one term "keyword density" here.It refers to the number of times the keyword appears in the blog content.Please be careful onthe number of times you include it in your post because using it more than necessary may be harmful as search engines may think that you are spamming and your ranking may further fall.Alwasys keep in mind that you are writing for people who read your blog and you may loose them by spamming.Also keep the leywords in bold letters whereever it is necessary.

Once who have completed blog or site creation you need to submit it to different search engines so that your site can be shown in search results of different search engines.while most of the search engines will find your site automatically its always better to manually submit your site inorder to get yourself indexed as soon as possible.

2. Yahoo: Follow thislink and you will get a page where you need to click on "submit your iste for free".Then click on "submit your webpage".Then you will get a box where you need to enter your URL.You can also submit your site feed.You need to log in to your yahoo account in order to submit.

3. MSN: Follow this link and there you will get a form.Give the URL of your site which you wanted to get indexed in MSN seacrh engine and then write down the verification characters and click on the "Submit URL" button.

  Thats it.Your bsite has been submitetd to these major three search engines for indexing.Now it may take 3-7 days to get your site indexed by all these seacrh engines.Initially it may be indexed low depending on the quality of content you provide.But if you keep posting good it will not take much time before it gets to top level.

What is NICHE blog?

If you had thought of starting a blog and gone through some of the online stuff about how to blog then you would have definitely come across this term-NICHE blog.So what exactly is this niche blog?What is meant by NICHE?Let us try to gather a brief knowledge about this.

Post regularly: I have been saying it from the first post that one should post regularly in order to establish a group of loyal readers.Once habituated readers would expect you to post regularly and if you are not doing so you are in teh danger of loosing them.So keep posting regularly.

Here are some of the tips that helps in getting your blog approved by adsense easily.These are really necessary because google doesn't approve every kind of blog that applies for adsense.One needs to follow specific guidelines inorder to get his blog approved by google.Let us see them in detail.

Tips:-
1. Content is the king on blogs.Does that mean that you can write about anything you like?No.Make sure that the content of your posts is nothing related to pornography,drugs,gambling and poker games.
2. The content should be unique although about 50% of it can be copied from net.What you can do is re-write the content that is available online in your own words.
3. Try to have atleast 10 posts with good content before applying for adsense.
4. Spend some time tweaking with the color and page layouts of your template.try to give it a professional look which helps in getting good traffic there by improving the chances of getting approved easily.
5. There is no limit on number of posts you can post daily.But you need to keep it going on.Posting 5 comments on one day and nothing for 5 days is not desired.Instead it would be better to post on alternative days so that you give ample time to your visitors to comment on your posts.

STEP3:-Applying for adsense

Until now we have seen how to post in our blog and you have to do this regularly inorder to keep your blog alive.Next step is applying for adsense for your blog.One should follow this step carefully because google is very particular about approving applications for adsense.Be sure that your blog strictly follows the TOS(Terms of Service) of google without which you will be in danger of getting your adsense application disapproved.Also if you are applying adsense for a site then it is must that your site must be atleast 6 months old and should be getting good traffic.Where as for a blog there are no such restrictions.You can get your blog approved for adsense in less tahn a week provided your blog has good content.Also google has the credibility for approving for adsense in less time without much restrictions which is not the case for sites.Once your blog is approved there is no need to apply again for other blogs or sites of yours.You can use that on as many blogs and sites you want (as long as all of them are strictly following the google TOS).So all you have to do is get your blog approved for adsense for just once and when it is done you are ready to launch an avalanche of blogs and place adsense on all of them.Its as easy as that.

Now let us see the step by step process of how to apply for adsense for your blog.But please make sure that the content in your blog is regularly updated which helps in your blog being readily approved by google.

Steps:-
1. Log into your blogger account or click on dashboard if you are already logged in.You will see the name of your blog and below that you will see Layout.just click on it.
2. Now you will see the columns Page Elements,Fonts and Colors,Edit HTML,Pick New Template and Monetize.Click on Page Elements.
3. Now you will be seeing the design window of your blog.In that window in the sidebar you will see an option "Add a Gadget".Click on it.A window will popup.
4. In that pop up window you will see different applications that can be added to your blog.Scroll down and you can see the AdSense application.Click on it.
5. As you are starting signup for an adsense account using your gmail ID and fill in the details correctly.The address you provide there is the one to which google will send the checks monthly.Be careful while entering the payee name and country because you cant change that once your account is created.Complete the signup process.Also remeber the PIN code which you provided.
6. Once you are done you will get a confirmation mail.Open it and click on the link provided by google to cnfirm your email address.Complete the rest of the registration process.
7. Google will take around a week to approve your application and meanwhile they will be serving "Public Service Announcements" (PSA's) .You dont get any revenue for these ads.
8. Check your blog and you should be seeing the PSA's displaying in your blog.Congrats you have successfully applied to adsense.Wait until google approves and meanwhile just keep posting good content.


You can increase the no. of places where you can place ads in your blogs by just clicking on Add a Gadget and then choosing adsense.Just remeber to save the changes you have applied.

STEP2:-Writing your posts

Now we will be dealing with the most important segment of any blog i.e content which is present in the form of posts.This mainly determines the traffic you attract there by affecting the income you generate with it.You can write on anything you like.Like your college function or a cricket match or how you did some things which may be of some help to others,what you know about a particular thing,..etc like that.As long as it is your own and simple but helpful you always get a good traffic.Let us see how to write your posts.

Steps:-

1. When you signed into your blogger account click on dashboard.You will see your name and under it you will see several columns like NEW POST,Edit Posts,Settings,Layout and View Blog.

2. Click on the NEW POST.You will be taken to a page where you see a Title box,Link box and a window which will be like your MS word.

3. Title box contains the title for your post. For example for this post it is STEP2 :- Writing your posts.Link refers to a site which we intend to go when someone click on the titls of this post.Leave it or if you want you can place any web site's address.You can test by placing www.google.com in Link box.

4. Now write your content in the window provided.You can select difefrent fonts,colours and display formats.Just test all the available options and use one which is pleasing to you.

5. After that just click on PUBLISH POST which is present just below that window.Thats it.Your first post is posted to your blog and you can see like any other site just by entering your blog address in any browser.

These are the basic steps for creating simple posts in your blogs.As you proceed you get several doubts regarding posting and how you can try out different options available in that window.You can change the various settings whichchanges teh appearence of your blog.But you will know these things as you keep trying out different options.I would appreciate if you try out for yourself and then after that ask any doubts regarding it.

Remeber that the content is the heart of your blog and it mainly determines the traffic you will get for your blog." Don't worry if you are not that good at english or if you don't know how to write.You can search for different articles online and making some modifications and adding some of your lines you can post them.Keep writing your posts regularly so that your blog stays updated.Tell your friends about your blog.Invite them to read your posts and comment on them.As you get some experience in writing you will be able to develop your own content.But you should be patient and once you pass this initial phase you will be enjoying this work and then the money will come to you even if you reduce the work hours later.

STEP1:-Getting your own blog started

I will explain you all the steps starting from getting your blog, adding adsense to it and finally increasing the traffic inorder to improve your earnings. So lets start the first step of creating your own blog.You can opt for either blogger or wordpress.Both offer free blog service.I will explain you about how to create a blog using blogger.The same steps can be followed for wordpress also.
Steps:-
1. Go to www.blogger.com
2. Signin using your gmail ID.Thats why i asked you to blog using blogger.You can straight away signin using gmail ID whereas in wordpress u need to signup separately.
3. Click on create a blog.You have give a title for your blog like "How to earn money from net" of this blog.
4. Think of an URL for your blog and check for its availability.If it is available then complete the remaining step and click on continue.Be selective while choosing a name as your URL.It must be related to the content of your blog so that it might be easy for visitors to relate with the content of your site.For example this blog's URL clearly defines what type of content will be there in the blog.
5. Now of the available templates choose a template for your blog and save changes.Your blog is ready and its address will be like of the form www.yourURL.blogspot.com .Check out my blog name to clear your doubts.
